On this trip I covered part of the north, passing through several provinces: Burgos, La Rioja, Vitoria, Vizcaya, Cantabria and Palencia and León. I would start by visiting Buitrago de Lozoya and then visit several important towns on the A1 such as Aranda de Duero, Lerma and the capital Burgos which was once the capital of the kingdom and would reach Miranda de Ebro where I would stay every day to make excursions from there.

The next day he would visit such important towns in La Rioja as Santo Domingo de la Calzada, or Nájera which one day was the capital of his kingdom, outside of Navarre. Then I would see the capital of La Rioja, Logroño and upon arrival I would take a walk through Miranda de Ebro, climbing to the top where there is a viewpoint.
The next day he would visit the most important towns in the Rioja Alavesa, to the north. These are Briñas, LaBastida, Briones, San Vicente de Sonsierra and Haro. Although there are many more but the route was quite complete.
The next day I would see important towns in the province of Burgos on its date such as Frías, Oña, Poza de Sal or Pacorbo. In the afternoon I would visit Vitoria, the capital of the province of Álava.

The next day he would head north and visit Bilbao. This city has become one of the most modern in terms of architecture, going from a populated city to bringing together most of the headquarters of the autonomous community of the Basque Country in the last 100 years due to its iron and steel industry and its fishing industry, being its port is Getxo, one of the most important in Spain.
Then I would visit Santander, and its beautiful beaches, such as El Sardinero, Los Molinucos or Somo beach for which I had to take a boat.
Finally, on the way to my town in El Bierzo, I would go down to Palencia, following the Romanesque route. I would visit towns that contain outstanding Romanesque churches in Spain such as Aguilar de Campoo, Carrión de los Condes, Villalcazar de Sirga, Fromista, Tamara de Campos and Santoyo. Leaving me some to the north and others to the east that he would leave me for other trips. In the afternoon I would see the capital of Palencia, its cathedral being one of the best in Spain. Although it is late Romanesque on the outside and is not surprising, on the inside it is comparable to others such as the one in León, mostly Gothic in style.

On the way back, I would pass through Sahagun, a town in the province of León with a very marked architecture in the towers of its churches and being one of the attractions of the Camino de Santiago.
