Teaching VET in electronics

This year at IES Azarquiel I was teaching cycles related to telecommunications in the branch Electricity and Electronics. These cycles are Medium-grade Telecommunications Installations and Superior-grade Computing and Telecommunications.

To a medium degree, due to the conditions in which we teach with fairly full classes and with the coronavirus, it was barely possible to do practices in the Radiocommunications Installations module that I gave.
In the higher degree cycle, he taught Configuration of Telecommunications Infrastructures and Telecommunications Elements.

The first things to learn in telecommunications are the physics behind an electromagnetic wave and those effects that occur to it to be modified or attenuated. Then teach the radio spectrum in telecommunications that can be seen in the following image.
Once these concepts have been learned, I would go on to explain the different modulations that exist in telecommunications, starting with the analog ones and the changes that they entail, AM, FM, PM. am-y-fm

Then I would see the different technologies and the evolution that has occurred over time, especially in telephony. Also other technologies such as radio or television.

Tasks were also carried out such as connecting cables to a Yagui antenna and connecting a field analyzer to be able to tune in to DTT channels and see the different parameters related to telecommunications.
